Work at Blackberry Bog Farm is physically and mentally demanding. It includes being outside when most people would rather be inside, lifting heavy objects, working for as long as the sun is up and sometimes getting incredibly dirty. It is also rewarding. You get the chance to feed your friends and neighbors, enjoy nature, cultivate plants, and be a part of something that exists nowhere else in Oregon, if not the country.
