Winter
Christmas Trees, Wreaths and Poinsettias
This year we are turning Blackberry Bog into a Winter Wonderland. We will have trees, wreaths, baked goods, and poinsettias available.
We are also going to be at a couple of winter markets to check out the schedule!
Fall
Thanksgiving Pies & Fill Your Pantry
Don’t forget to order your Thanksgiving pies ahead of time!
Pickup will be the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and we will have lots of squashes, carrots, brussels sprouts, and all the other vegetables you need for a fantastic meal.
Pumpkin Patch- closed for the season
The Pumpkin Patch is free, and includes a beautiful walk through our display gardens, tons of pumpkins, baked goods, and a treasure hunt for the kids. If you’re looking for a private play area to enjoy with your family & friends, we have that too. Private play areas include life sized path to pumpkinville (imagine candyland), corn hole, ladder toss, a covered picnic table, and other fun games.
Spring
Grafting Workshop
A unique chance to learn how to graft your own apple trees! Each class will include instruction, rootstock, scion wood (the part that makes the apples), and five apple trees that are yours to take home.
Build a
Hanging Basket
An opportunity to express your creativity and build your very own hanging basket or planter. You’ll get to take your creation home the same day and watch it flourish into a beautiful work of art.
Egg Hunt
Joins us on the third weekend of April for a fun egg hunt, with a lovely prize at the end if you collect all the eggs!
Mother’s Day Delivery
Want to surprise the special mothers in your life? Mother’s day delivery is a fantastic way to show your appreciation by getting hanging baskets or baked goods delivered to their door.
Summer
Farm Tours & Tastings
Farm tours are available monthly during the growing season (May - September). Tours are about an hour and cover the entirety of Blackberry Bog Farm. After the tour, guests will be treated to a tasting of seasonal farm offerings and baked goods.
Farm to Table Dinners
A plated, outdoor dinner, from some of the finest local chefs. Produce, berries, and proteins are all sourced locally (Clatsop, Columbia, or Pacific County)
Tea in the Garden
Enjoy the gardens at Blackberry Bog with a cup of tea and lovely sandwiches and pastries! Baked goods and drinks are handcrafted on site by our talented bakers and served in the beautiful display gardens.
Sunflower and Strawberry Festival
A celebration of late summer, sometime in August. You can look forward to sunflower ice cream, strawberry shortcake, and all the sunflowers you can dream of.
New: Sunflower Afternoon Tea
Join us for a special tea during our first annual sunflower festival.
Tea will be served starting at 2:00pm, and will include three courses
of savory and sweet items.
This tea will be arranged family style, spread under the grove in the display gardens.
This is a dress up event, so please find your most “sunflowery” clothes.
Summer Seminar Series
Join us at the farm for free informational sessions on choosing the right plants, taking care of them, and how to get the most out of your gardens. No need to sign up, it’s free and no reservations are required.

Flower Bouquet Workshop
Available once we have enough flowers bloom!
Learn about the various flowers we grow for bouquets and how to make a good bouquet. Then, cut flowers and craft them into a bouquet of your own that you get to take home with you.
